<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor blade containment casing for a gas turbine engine capable of providing measures against suction of foreign matter into a turbo fan. <P>SOLUTION: This fan blade containment assembly body for the turbo fan gas turbine engine is provided with a cylindrical or frustoconical casing 40 arranged so as to surround arrangement of a fan blade. At least one hollow tubular member 66 is arranged in the radial direction in the casing 40 and is fixed to the casing 40, and at least one hollow tubular member 66 holds a filler material 68. At least one hollow tubular member 66 is extended in the peripheral direction. The hollow tubular member 66 has a helical shape, and an interval in the axial direction between adjacent winding parts of the tubular member 66 is changed. Density of the filler material 68 is changed to adapt to degree of shock expected at each position in the axial direction along the casing 40 of the fan blade containment assembly body 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
