PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire type external operation device of a circuit breaker, whose small and compact structure can be configured with few parts count by improving its assembly construction. SOLUTION: The wire type external operation device of the circuit breaker, which is attached to a main part of the circuit breaker and drives its handle to ON, OFF and resetting positions by wire operations. The wire type external operation device comprises: a fixed base 4 which is attached on a front surface of a case 1 of the main part of the circuit breaker; a slider 5 of which guide supporting with the fixed base is carried out by engaging it to the handle 1b of the circuit breaker; and an operation wire 9 one end of which is combined with the slider and another end of which is combined with a remote control portion. In order to realize reduction in the parts count of the device and miniaturization of the device, both a slider guide portion 4c of the fixed base 4 and the slider 5 are formed in a channel shape having a U shape cross section, and the slider is engaged into the guide portion of the fixed base and is supported with possibility of sliding in directions to ON and OFF positions of the handle.
