PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of carrying and installing elevator machine chamber equipment such as a large hoisting machine to be used for a large-capacity elevator and machine chamber equipment thereof, and capable of easily carrying the elevator machine chamber equipment into a machine chamber and capable of easily installing it inside the machine chamber. SOLUTION: In this elevator machine chamber equipment carrying method of carrying machine chamber equipment including the elevator hoising machine 1 with a tower crane for construction, the machine chamber equipment is formed of a hoisting machine 1, a machine plate 2 structuring one part of the machine chamber equipment except the hoisting machine, a deflector sheave fitting beam 5, and a machine chamber equipment unit formed by unifying the machine plate and the deflector sheave fitting beam with a connector 6 for connecting the machine plate and the deflector sheave fitting beam to each other. After temporarily assembling the machine chamber equipment in a factory, it is divided into the hoisting machine and the machine chamber unit, and separately carried into the machine chamber by the tower crane.
