PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite valve consisting of an emergency manual valve and a relief valve unitized therewith in a general hydraulic circuit, particularly, a hydraulic driven unit and having inexpensive and compact construction for saving space. SOLUTION: In the hydraulic driven unit 10, the composite valve 7 is provided which consists of the relief valve (7r) to be used between a hydraulic cylinder 2 and a hydraulic pump 1 and the emergency manual valve (7h) unitized coaxially therewith for escaping operating fluid between the hydraulic pump 1 and the hydraulic cylinder 2 into a tank 3 during stopping the hydraulic pump 1.
