PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment connecting structure capable of securing flatness of a segment surface, without requiring excessive construction cost and labor, while having high rigidity and high yield strength of the same degree as a segment body. SOLUTION: This segment connecting structure in a structure is constructed by joining a plurality of segments in the peripheral direction and the shaft direction; and is characterized by connecting the adjacent segments 8a by a hinge fixation, by inserting a hinge fixing joint member 2 into square cylindrical joint members 4 aligned in the shaft direction, by arranging one or a plurality of square cylindrical joint members 4 by mutually dislocating a position in the shaft direction so that one square cylindrical joint member 4 is stored between the respective joint members without interfering with the other square cylindrical joint member 4, by fixing the square cylindrical joint members 4 along both end parts in the peripheral direction of the segment body 8.
