An automatic giro processing machine is provided to eliminate a jamming phenomenon of a giro sheet by vertically transferring the sheet, as compared with a conventional giro processing machine horizontally transferring the sheet. A vertical input port(32) receives a sheet of giro, and transfers and ejects the sheet to the opposite lower portion, in a vertical direction. A storage(33) scans the sheet transferred through the vertical input port, and stores the scanned image. A scanned image transmitting unit(34) transmits the scanned image to a server of a financial institution via a network. A receipt issuing unit(35) brings out a receipt corresponding to received particulars, and provides the receipt to a customer. |
