LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING AFTER-IMAGE REMOVAL FUNCTION

An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device having an afterimage removal function is provided to have an afterimage removal unit including an electromagnet, thereby rearranging the accumulated ions. A back light(50) is installed at the rear of the LCD panel(30). A driving circuit member(40) applies a driving signal to the LCD panel. A chassis member(60) assembles the LCD panel and the back light member. The LCD panel includes a lower glass substrate having a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) array. A color filter is formed on an upper glass substrate. A liquid crystal cell is arranged by the liquid crystal injected between the upper and lower glass substrates. The TFT as a switching device and a pixel electrode for applying the signal voltage transmitted through the TFT to the liquid cell are arranged to the upper glass substrate. The color filter and a common electrode for applying the voltage to the liquid cell are arranged at the upper glass substrate.
