<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording sheet which has excellent image clarity and shelf stability, and besides, outstanding conveyability during inkjet printing and strike-through of a printing image, in an inkjet printing process. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording sheet comprises not less than one ink receiving layer which contains a pigment and a binder as main components, formed on one of the surfaces of a support. In this sheet, a back layer containing a talc pigment, is formed on the back of the support located on the opposite side to the ink receiving layer. The coefficient of static friction and the coefficient of dynamic friction between the back layer surface and the recording surface as stipulated by JIS P 8147: 1994, are 0.3 to 0.9 and 0.2 to 0.7 respectively.
