<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape of a personal authentication device capable of easily authenticating fingers of both left and right hands and achieving authentication accuracy of a high practical level in personal authentication utilizing vein images of the fingers. <P>SOLUTION: The personal authentication device includes a case on which one finger can be placed downward, a light source part for generating transmission light to the finger from the side face, an interference filter part having light transmittivity for an arbitrary wavelength, an imaging part for capturing an image through a mirror for the transmission light transmitted through the interference filter part, and an image processing part for the vein image data of the finger output from the imaging part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
