<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door handle device excellent in the mounting workability of an antenna. <P>SOLUTION: The invention is composed of an escutcheon 3 having a door handle device 1A, 1B exposed on the outer surface of a door panel 2, a door handle 4 arranged on the outer surface of the escutcheon 3, an end cover 5 covering the inner face of the escutcheon 3, an antenna temporary holding part 8 or 10 formed either on the end cover 5 or the escutcheon 3 and the antenna 6 supported by the antenna temporary holding part 8 or 10.
