<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for display by which burn-in is prevented and high-quality display is attained. <P>SOLUTION: When an image of a speedometer and an image of a tachometer are switched to be displayed so that a part of the images is overlapped with a display area 14 of an organic EL panel 2, black display 200 is put into a part which overlaps with the image of the speedometer in the image of the tachometer. The black display 200 is put into the image of the tachometer so that it covers a contour of a white image part included in the image of the speedometer. Namely, the contour of the white image part included in the image of the speedometer is a burn-in line 205 seen as the burn-in and the whole burn-in line 205 is covered with the annular black display 200. Thus, the burn-in becomes invisible at a part which overlaps with the image of the speedometer in the image of the tachometer shown in Fig. 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
