<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planographic printing method which enables development on a printer, and which is excellent in print wear and the property of preventing the occurrence of stains during planographic printing. <P>SOLUTION: In this planographic printing method, a hydrophilic layer is provided on a plastic substrate; a printing plate material, where an image forming layer enabling the development on the printer is provided on the hydrophilic layer, is attached to the printer after being subjected to image exposure; dampening water and printing ink are supplied onto the surface of the printing plate material subjected to the image exposure; and a nonimage area of the image forming layer is removed so that printing can be done. The planographic printing method is characterized as follows: the hydrophilic layer contains particles with a particle diameter equivalent to 150-500% of the membrane thickness of the whole hydrophilic layer; and the dampening water contains polyhydric alcohol with a solubility parameter (SP value) of 24-34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
