PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve production yield and to make a manufacturing process more accurate and easy when manufacturing a flexible display device employing a plastic substrate. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of the flexible display device, which includes a step of causing a first flexible mother substrate to adhere to a first support member, a step of cutting the first flexible mother substrate to separate it into a plurality of first substrates, and a step of forming thin film patterns on the first substrates is provided to make the manufacturing process more accurate and easy while improving the production yield of the flexible display device.
