PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal, a broadcasting station and a map update system using these, capable of distributing a map update data at a priority suitable for a user. SOLUTION: In the map update system provided with a broadcasting station having a predetermined broadcasting area and the mobile terminal, the broadcasting station comprises; a broadcasting data storing means 101 for storing update data of a plurality of districts; a priority setting means 102 for setting the priority so that the update data in the broadcasting area can be broadcasted more often than the update data in an area outside the broadcasting area; and a broadcasting means 105 for broadcasting the update data determined according to the set priority from the plurality of stored update data, and the mobile terminal comprises: a receiving means 201 for receiving the update data broadcasted by the broadcasting station; a map data storing means 204 for storing the map data; and a map data update means 205 for updating the map data stored in the map data memory means on the basis of the update data which is received by the receiving means.
