PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display unit of which a fabrication cost and the thickness can be reduced by integrally forming a display and key pads to omit a FPC connecting the display and the key pads, and a mobile terminal having the same. SOLUTION: The display unit includes: the display having a first surface, a second surface, and at least one side surface extending between the first surface and the second surface; and a board extending from one of side surfaces of the display in a lengthwise direction.
