PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine valve capable of suppressing the occurrence of crack by reducing thermal stress generated in an umbrella part of the engine valve and having excellent durability. SOLUTION: This engine valve having the umbrella part forming a tapered face part seated on a seat part forms an edge part formed at an outer peripheral fringe of the face part into a curved face shape.
