PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metering cap which is user-friendly, and which is high in productivity and cost property. SOLUTION: For this metering cap 1, a cylindrical section 4 of which the distal end 4a is opened is provided on the rear surface 3f of a cap which is freely detachably attached to a container, in a manner to make the cylindrical section 4 swell into a ring shape from the rear surface 3f. The cylindrical section 4 becomes a metering cup C by the reversing of the cap 1. On the rear surface 3f of the cap which is surrounded by the cylindrical section 4, an indicating section 5 which is formed in such a manner that characters, numeral values, figures marks or a combination of them are made to swell out from the rear surface 3f along the cylindrical section 4 is provided. The distal end height h1 of the indicating section 5 is set to be the surface height h2 of a content when the content for a metering portion is filled in the metering cup C.
