PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular traveling control device capable of maintaining the braking to meet the intention of a driver even when a driver's seat is moved in a collision for occupant protection. SOLUTION: When the vehicular traveling control device detects the movement of a seat for protecting a driver at the time of collision, the change of the operation of a brake pedal in the deceleration suppressing direction of a self vehicle is detected (Steps S3, S4 and S6), and the deceleration characteristic of the self vehicle based on the operation of the brake pedal by a driver before detecting the change of the operation of the brake pedal in the suppressing direction of the deceleration is detected (Steps S5 and S9). Thus, when the change of the operation of the brake pedal is detected, the braking force of the self vehicle is controlled so as to maintain the deceleration characteristic (Steps S8, S10, S11 and S12).
