PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary drum type game machine which can unerringly nullify the unreasonable input of operating switches as one cause of an operational abnormality. SOLUTION: The rotary drum type game machine (1) is adjacently provided with a token dispenser (70) which controls the dispensation of tokens in accordance with the operation of a dispensation switch (18) by a player and has a photo-coupler (406) provided in series with a dispensation switch and a switch switching control means (400) to switch the output of the dispensation switch to active or nonactive by controlling the photo-coupler. The switch switching control means disables the operation of the dispensation switch by turning off the photo-coupler when any one of reels (13a, 13b, and 13c) is rotating or when medals are being put out.
