PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a combustible liquid from garbage. SOLUTION: The method for producing a combustible liquid comprises hydrolyzing a raw material abundantly containing carbohydrates with a liquid enzyme to give its liquefied product, hydrolyzing the liquid product with a saccharase to give a saccharified product, fermenting the saccharified product to give a fermented product, subjecting the fermented product to solid-liquid separation and distilling the liquid. The method for producing a combustible liquid comprises feeding the saccharified product, the solid after the solid-liquid separation and a yeast essence to an activation tank to activate yeast contained in the solid, fermenting the activated product, subjecting the fermented product to solid-liquid separation and distilling the liquid.
