PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fish reef having high usefulness, excellent in economy, operability, durability, etc., and given based on a new concept, for the purpose of ensuring a good breeding ground for fry and a good spawning ground for fishes as a means for compensating such problems that a marine environment in a costal area of the sea is deteriorated by a sharp decrease of natural seashore, progress of marine pollution, disappearance of a seaweed bed, etc., the good breeding ground for the fry, the good spawning ground for the fishes, etc., are rapidly lost, and recovery of the natural seashore, the seaweed bed, etc., is, on the other hand, difficult to be treated in a short period. SOLUTION: This fish reef is structured so that nets and ropes are skillfully combined and attached to the inside of the fish reef, by making good use of each characteristic of the net and the rope and exerting originality and ingenuity for forming a shape of the fish reef. Thus, a wide variety of an ocean space is created. Further, a comfortable marine environment which should be referred to as a small sea forest where seaweeds thickly grow is provided, so that an aspect which is not given by conventional fish reefs is supplied.
