A dish washer is provided to improve the installation and safety performance without the branch water faucet with complex structure by mounting the water storage tank and the discharge unit. A dish washer is composed of: a washing tub(2) for cleaning the objects such as dishes; a water storage tank(19) for storing the clean water supplied to the washing tub; a water supply unit(22) for supplying the only clean water stored in the water storage tank to the washing tub; and a discharge unit(16) for discharging the water into the washing tub. The clean water in the water storage tank is supplied to the washing tub by the water supply unit, and the clean water supplied in the washing tub is directly discharged by the discharge unit without the washing operation. The water supply and discharge units are simultaneously operated.
