<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of relaxing limitations of system resources of a system as a whole and improving total throughput. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing device comprises a first conversion means for dividing raster image data into blocks of a prescribed size and executing vectorization processing to convert the raster image data into block vector image data, corresponding to each of the divided blocks in the prescribed size; a storage means for storing the block vector image data; an expansion means for expanding the block vector image data into raster image data; and an image data transfer control means for controlling the transfer of image data to be processed within the device, so that the raster image data input from an input means is converted into block vector images by the first conversion means, the converted block vector images may be stored in the storage means, and the block vector image data stored in the storage means and the raster image data, resulting from expanding by the expansion means, is output from an output means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
