<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which the copy of an unnecessary region can be avoided while aligning sizes of recording media. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, an image reading section creates image data by reading out a document and an image recording section records an image based on the image data to a recording medium thus copying the document to the recording medium. When the spread part of a booklet document is copied to the recording medium in the image forming apparatus, either of two pages of spread part can be set to a noncopy page by means of a noncopy specification button. When the noncopy page PU is set like spread parts SP1 and SP3, a recording medium of the same size as a recording medium RM2 is used as recording media RM1 and RM3. In an image recorded on the recording media RM1 and RM3 copying the spread parts SP1 and SP3, a region RU corresponding to the noncopy page PU is masked with total white. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
