<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device for a rear seat which develops and expands an air bag by reducing a time difference in the development-expansion between a bag section for the rear and bag sections for the sides as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The air bag 20 of this air bag device for a rear seat is equipped with: the bag section 27 for the rear; and the bag sections 40 for the right and left sides so that the cabin sides of a rear window and right and left side windows can be covered. The air bag main body 21 of the air bag constitutes a flow-in port section 26 and the bag sections 27 and 40 for the rear and the sides, and an inner tube 55 is arranged in the upper edge side. The inner tube 55 is equipped with: a cylindrical section 58 for flowing in; a cylindrical section 59 for the rear; and cylindrical sections 60 for the right and left sides. Then, a gas discharging port 59a for the cylindrical section for the rear is arranged in a separate position from the cylindrical section 58 for flowing in to the side of the cylindrical sections 60 for the sides, and a gas discharging port 60a for the cylindrical sections for the right and left sides is arranged in a vicinity of the front end of each cylindrical section 60 for the sides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
