<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply manage a Savant server which permits information processing for tag information stored in an EPCIS server in an EPC information management system. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving a location information registration signal from the Savant server 30, an SIP server 20 verifies the Savant server 30, and then notifies the EPCIS server 10, which transmitted a new registration monitor signal, of an address of the Savant server 30. The EPCIS server 10 generates an instance using the received address, and the Savant server 30 transmits tag reading information including information that an IC tag reader 50 read out from an IC tag 40 using an address of the EPCIS server 10, which is acquired from an ONS server 60. The EPCIS server 10 updates tag information stored in itself based on the tag reading information, only if the instance is generated based on the address of the Savant server 30 that is a transmitter of the tag reading information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
