<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door with a structure in which thin strip-shaped plates are rotated in an S-shape while facing each other along opposed surfaces of almost circular cross-section columnar bodies, and a door connecting method. <P>SOLUTION: The door comprises: the pair of columnar bodies which are rotated while the vertical opposed surfaces face each other; and at least one of first S-shaped strip members and at least one of second S-shaped strip members, which enclose the columnar bodies in an S-shape from one of the pair of columnar bodies to the other one and to one of the pair of columnar bodies from the other one in directions opposite to each other while facing the vertical opposed surfaces. The pair of columnar bodies, which has an almost semicircular cross section and the almost semicircular opposed surfaces facing each other, is rotated on one or the other central axis while facing the vertical opposed surfaces.
