PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet system image forming apparatus which can hold a pressure acting to ink in a printing head within a proper range regardless of stationing positions of a sub tank and the printing head. SOLUTION: A circular space 82 filled with the air is formed at an upper part in the sub tank 80. The ink is filled in a lower part in the sub tank 80. The space 82 is surrounded by an upper wall 80a of the sub tank 80 and a circular inner wall 88. A turbo-type air fan 85 is stationed in the surrounded part (space 82). An atmosphere communication pipe 84a which makes the space 82 communicate with the atmosphere (connects the space 82 and outside with each other) is attached to the upper wall 80a of the sub tank 80.
