PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation in which discoloration of the preparation is suppressed. SOLUTION: The skin care preparation comprises a hydroquinone, glycol ether or a specific polyhydric alcohol, ascorbic acid or its salt. As a result, discoloration of the external preparation is suppressed and further, hydroquinone can be stabilized.
