PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Staphylococcus aureus suppressive agent solving serious problems in medical sites involving MRSA(methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus) as a cause of hospital infections. SOLUTION: It has been demonstrated by the experiments in the Faculty of material environmental chemistry, Department of technology, Miyazaki University, Japan(Professor Yukio Hayashi's laboratory) that organic residue-treated water is highly active on Staphylococcus aureus in particular. The treated water can be utilized through washing in the form of a liquid, spraying with a spray, etc. on utensils, contact infections on hands and fingers, droplet infections caused by inhaling droplets, infections via treatment equipment(including various catheters), etc., thus affording the inexpensive objective Staphylococcus aureus suppressive agent with no adverse drug reactions.
