PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an oil circulation rate of a compressor, miniaturize it, and reduce its weight by a compact liquid separation device. SOLUTION: The lubricating oil 7 supplied from a main bearing 42 in a compression mechanism part is separated by collision action of compressed gas containing the lubricating oil 7 against a liquid separation wall 19 by providing the liquid separation wall 19 for preventing diffusion of the lubricating oil 7 at a rear end of a main bearing member 51 or at a collar 14b of a driving shaft 14, and the separated lubricating oil 7 is stirred by rotation of a balance weight 5c and is recovered into an oil storage part 6 without flowing into a discharge port to improve separation performance for separating compressed gas from the lubricating oil, reduce oil circulation rate of the compressor, miniaturize it, and reduce its weight.
