PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust remover capable of remarkably reducing the disposed amount of dust by discharging the dust to a sand discharging water channel without scraping up the dust higher than a water level by the dust remover. SOLUTION: This dust remover 1 comprises a screen 2 installed in a water channel 6 so as to cross a water flow, a rake 8 lifting along the screen 2, and a lifting means 5 lifting the rake 8. The rake 8 is formed in a gutter shape in cross section crossing a water flow, a clearance between one end 8a of the rake 8 and the side wall 18 of the water channel is opened, and the other end 8b of the rake 8 is brought into contact with the side wall 19 of the water channel.
