PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face grille for a window with crime preventing stiles which cannot be easily removed or deformed from the outside thereby offering a high crime preventing effect. SOLUTION: A plurality of crime preventing stiles 25 are arranged vertically and in parallel mutually outside or inside of the window. Its top rail 21 has a channel shape with its top closed by a flat bar and also has holes through the bottom of the channel shape for inserting stiles; upper end portion of each stile is inserted to each hole made through the bottom of the channel in a freely movable manner vertically; and a guide member 26 is attached to the top of each stile thereby keeping the top of the stile within the channel shape of the top rail. A bottom rail 22 has a sectional shape similar to a sill with its top surface sloped outward, and a bottom of each stile is inserted to the bottom rail in a freely movable manner upward or downward. Insertion holes of a pair of couplers 27A for spacers are mutually overlapped and coupled by coupling shafts 27B in a freely rotating manner; and the intervals of adjacent crime preventive stiles can be mutually maintained by the spacers 27 by inserting the stiles to the insertion holes at outer ends of the couplers.
