PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a router easy to adjust the rotational speed of an edge tool in a state where a handle remains grasped by a worker. SOLUTION: Handles 130E and 130E are provided to the main body protruding parts 130F and 130F protruded from a main body so as to be made revolvable with respect to the main body protruding parts 130F and 130F. A speed variable dial 130I, which is constituted of a variable resistor capable of adjusting the rotational speed of a motor 131, is provided at the position of the handle 130E capable of being operated by the thumb of the worker when the handles 130E are grasped by the hand of the worker. The greater part of the speed variable dial 130I is housed in the handles 130E and only a part of the peripheral surface thereof is exposed to the outside of the handles 130E. The part of the speed variable dial 130I exposed to the outside is inwardly positioned from the contours of the outer shapes of the handles 130E and not protruded from the contours of the outer shapes of the handles 130E.
