PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flange removing tool which can easily pull out and remove a flange fitted with shrinkage to a shaft, and contributes to drastically-improved workability. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the flange removing tool, one end face of a cylindrical case 2 is opened, and a flange 3 is attached to the opened end face, which flange 3 has a plurality of bolt penetration holes 4 formed therein. The cylindrical case 2 has a screw hole 5 formed in the other end face thereof, and a screw shaft 7 penetrating the cylindrical case 2 is reciprocatively screwed into the hole. Further the flange 3 is connected to the companion flange 15 which has been fitted with shrinkage to the main shaft 14, and the screw shaft 7 is rotated to move ahead, to thereby pull out the companion flange 15.
