PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating tool solving problems of generation of noise and bad energy efficiency by transmitting power by frictional force of an endless belt, applying large tension to the endless belt and transmitting high torque. SOLUTION: This rotating tool comprises a transmission 2 for transmitting rotation of a motor 1 to a driving shaft 3. The transmission 2 is formed by winding the endless belt 10 between an input pulley 8 and an output pulley 9. Belt tension is imparted by pressing a tension pulley 11 on the belt 10. By moving the location of the tension pulley 11 in the vertical direction in the figure, the belt tension is increased or decreased. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
