PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a phenomenon in which excess brazing filler metal overflows from an end of a joining face onto the side to run down along the side, without providing a groove on the joining face, for the purpose of securing reliability and improving the productivity of a component for which a first member and a second member are brazed and integrated into one body. SOLUTION: A sintered component 10 to be made by brazing is composed of a first member 11 and a second member 12 which are vertically superposed with the joining faces 11b, 12b brazed to each other, wherein a recess 17 is formed on the side faces 11a, 12a which are along the edge of the joining faces 11b, 12b and intersecting them. The recess 17 is provided with a bottom face 17a which is a face nearly parallel to the joining faces 11b, 12b, which is situated at least in the first member 11, and which is designed to take in and hold the excess brazing filler metal in the recess 17 during the brazing.
