摘要 <p>A charging apparatus wherein the raise of the temperature of the internal chip of a charging element is suppressed and a high reliability is achieved. An integrator (22) is used to integrate output signals from a current detecting part (23), which detects a charging current to a capacitor (11), and from a voltage detecting part (21) which detects the difference between the voltage (VC) of the capacitor (11) and the corresponding voltage of a DC power supply (10). An output signal of the integrator (22) is used to control and maintain the power of a charging element (15) at a predetermined value, thereby performing the charging. When the completion of the charging is nearly reached, a constant voltage control circuit (17) is used to control the charging element (15), thereby charging the capacitor (11) to a predetermined voltage. In this way, a charging apparatus is provided in which the maximum temperature within the charging element (15) is reduced and a high reliability can be obtained.</p>
