A video processing apparatus and a method thereof are provided to minimize the distortion of a reduced image produced due to the removal of pixels. An image processing member(210) reduces the original image according to the set reduction rate and produces the reduced image. A picture forming member(250) forms the picture of the reduced image. The image processing member and the picture forming member are equipped with a medium such as a facsimile, a printer and an MFP(Multi Function Peripheral). A processing feature setting member(220) sets features of the pixels for forming the original image according to the reduction rate information. |
