An expandable console box for a car is provided to receive various sizes of goods in a console box by expanding the console box backward in a case that goods put in the receiving room of the console box is bigger than the receiving room. In an expandable console box for a car, a fixing part(10) is concavely formed at both sides of a rear part of a console box. A sliding groove is formed at an upper part and a lower part of the fixing part with a front and rear direction. A box expanded part is formed with a box type and is installed at the fixing part to slide. And, a first sliding guide is protrusively formed at both sides of an upper part and an inner side of an lower part of the box expanded part.
