The invention concerns an intra-gastric balloon designed to be implanted inside a patient's stomach to reduce the stomach volume in a treatment of obesity, said intra-gastric balloon (1) comprising: at least one bag (2) adapted to be filled, at least partly, with an inflating fluid; connecting means (3), mounted on said bag (2) and adapted to receive a connecting member (11) to an inflating fluid source. The invention is characterized in that the connecting means (3) comprises a chamber (16) designed to be perforated by said connecting member (11) to inject the inflating fluid into said bag (2), said chamber (16) containing a sealing fluid sufficiently viscous and/or consistent to seal the connecting means (3) when the connecting member (11) has been withdrawn. The invention also concerns an intra-gastric balloon for treating obesity.
