<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which does not require many storage areas and enables specific users to share specific image data, without reducing the operability. <P>SOLUTION: Shared image data (management number: 1001), shared by a plurality of users, are transmitted from a terminal device 6 to an image forming device 2 together with the notification destinations of a plurality of users which are the target of sharing (sharing is permitted) (hereafter, to be called "sharing users"). The image forming device 2 stores the image data to be transmitted in a box with a box number 46, specified by the terminal device 6 and notifies the users of the notification destination of a URL, which is location information of the stored shared image data.
