PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumed in a parallel monitor when a capacitor group composed of multiple capacitors connected in series is charged.
SOLUTION: The capacitor power supply device includes: means R8, R9 for detecting the output voltage Vco of the capacitor group C1 to Cn; means 86 to 88 for charging the capacitor group; multiple monitor means MN1 to MNn; and charge controlling means 508 (36 to 46 in FIG. 8). The multiple monitor means MN1 to MNn are respectively connected in parallel with the individual capacitors C1 to Cn. When the voltage of each capacitor arrives at a predetermined voltage, the monitor means MN1 to MNn bypass a charging current and generate an arrival signal Cst=L indicating the arrival at the predetermined voltage. The charge controlling means determine a long-time time limit value ts1 when the output voltage Vco is lower than a preset value Vbt/Vrt and a short-time time limit value ts2 when the output voltage is higher. When the arrival signal Cst=L occurs, the charge controlling means start time count, and after the corresponding time limit value is reached, the charge controlling means stop charging by the charging means 86 to 88.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
