PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To let a user such as a consumer know purchase history or the like of commodities of the user by using a memory carried by the user.

SOLUTION: This data processing system includes: a device 22 for distributing edited advertisement data ED which has been edited by an edition device 21 via a network; display terminal devices 32a to 32c having a first reader/writer 35 for displaying the advertisement data ED distributed in a first place of a predetermined region and reading and/or writing from/to an IC card 40 with memory identification data MID stored therein; a second reader/writer 52 installed in a second place of the predetermined region for reading and/or writing from/to the IC card 40; a management device 23 for managing history data HD1 and HD2 associated with the memory identification data MID supplied from the first reader/writer 35 and history data HD1 associated with the memory identification data MID supplied from the second reader/writer 52; and a history analysis device 24 used for associating the history data HD1 and HD2 for each of the memory identification data MID and generating analysis data D.
