<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for holding a plurality of IP addresses in which a user can attain an effect of not requiring operation when the address is altered, and the time up to address alteration can be shortened because the address is not acquired every time for DHCP but information held in an information terminal itself is utilized. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of IP addresses are provided for one interface of an information terminal so that a user can alter an IP address without performing the work for altering the setting of the information terminal or restarting the information terminal. As its method, a means for holding the IP address in a computer is provided. Consequently, a plurality of IP addresses can be utilized at one network interface. Since automatic address acquisition from a DHCP is employed for address acquisition, the user can continue communication unconsciously of alteration in IP address. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
