<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bench cutter which reduces the interference of a cutting part with a processing material. <P>SOLUTION: A fourth bearing 444 rotatably supporting a second gear 434 and a spindle 434A is disposed in a hole for holding a bearing 411a, the hole being formed in a bearing holder 411 integrated with a gear case 41. A first bearing holding member 412 and a second bearing holding member 413 formed of a material stronger than that of the bearing holder 411 are provided to hold the fourth bearing 444 at both the faces around the hole for holding the bearing 411a of the bearing holder 411 so that the bearing holder 411 can be thinner than the thickness of the direction of rotation of the fourth bearing 444.
