PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system capable of using a thin film as an electrode, enabling sure contact, and having an electric contact hardly worn, even if the number of times of attachment/detachment is increased. SOLUTION: A support body 2 has support-side electrodes 3. A surface emission light source 1 has light source-side electrodes 7 and 8 in contact with the support-side electrodes 3 and is detachably attached to the support body 2. The light source-side electrodes 7 and 8 and the support-side electrodes 3 contact to and separate from each other only, in the directions opposite to each other in attaching/detaching the surface emission light source 1 to/from the support body 2. In this case, the surface emission light source 1 is an organic EL light source, having an organic light luminescent layer and an electrode layer on a substrate; and the support body 2 is used for pressing the support-side electrodes 3, in a direction vertical to the surfaces of the light source-side electrodes 7 and 8 so as to prevent the surface emitting light source 1 from moving in a direction parallel with respect to the surfaces of the light source-side electrodes 7 and 8 in attaching the surface emitting light source 1.
