PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting mechanism of a dry battery case on an electronic equipment body in which a lid for closing the dry battery case can be surely locked by one touch of a button, and which does not make the size of the equipment larger. SOLUTION: In the mounting mechanism of the dry battery case 1 on the electronic equipment body 9 in which a dry battery unit 1 housing a plurality of dry batteries 8, 8, ... in a case 2 and covering them with a lid 3 is locked to the electronic equipment body 9 with a release lever 4 supported in free rotation to the case 2 and biased in a locking direction, the lid 3 is locked to the case 2 closed state by a lock-state protection lever 5 supported in free rotation to the case 2 and preventing the lock release of the release lever 4.
