PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which is made thin and lightweight while maintaining sufficiently high strength against an external shock. SOLUTION: The display device according to the present invention is characterized in that a transparent film and a buffer layer cover the screen of a liquid crystal panel to protect the liquid crystal panel against external scratching and corrosion by chemicals.
