PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element that can effectively prevent degradation in an image by diffracted light, and to provide an optical system and an electronic apparatus using the element. SOLUTION: The optical elements 10, 20 have at least one plane of reflecting planes 12, 22, 23 and a plurality of grooves adjoining to each other at an equal interval on the surface of the reflecting plane, wherein the cross section of the groove or the cross section of a projection between adjacent grooves is an arc and satisfies condition formula (1):0.03≤(n<SB>0</SB>×P<SP>2</SP>)/(R×λ<SB>0</SB>)≤0.17. In the formula,λ<SB>0</SB>represents a reference wavelength in the wavelength region for use; n<SB>0</SB>represents the refractive index of a material constituting the optical element at the reference wavelength; R represents a radius of curvature in the cross section of the groove or the arc cross section of the projection between adjacent grooves; and P represents an interval between adjacent grooves.
